In this case, not a drawing but an experience, and the special device is the Architecture. Galleries are carved into the building mass to shape the cone of vision to surrounding buildings. This allows visitors to experience nothing but the perfectly framed view of the particular building. The users are left to only focus on one building at a time in chronological order of its birth. Using anamorphosis to create a progression through time. The museum tells the story of architectural evolution in Chicago, not by traditional display but by anamorphic perspective galleries.
